Minibus

In 1992, the group was presented with a brand new, fully adapted minibus by the ITV Telethon (1990) Appeal.

The minibus is able to carry three passengers in normal-sized manual wheelchairs and six seated or any combination thereof (plus the driver). We offer the minibus for hire by disabled people and their organisations, subject to our appraisal of the driver, at a non-profit rate of £1.20 per mile that helps to cover our running costs. Volunteer drivers must be willing to disclose any licence details and other personal details for insurance purposes. We are planning a replacement for our minibus, which is feeling its age.
